03AI color engine
Color, measured, not guessed.
Suppliers upload a photo of their pellets or regrind: the color is measured from the picture, with its opacity. Converters specify the color they need their way: a color name, a RAL code, Lab values, or simply a photo of the material.
Matching compares measured colors, not words, so a grade labeled ‘mix’ that looks green still matches a green request. Multi-color grades are handled color by color.
